Wall Street Journalist Walt Mossberg has written a helpful column about the basic differences between the Mac and PC OS (Operating Systems).
A good reference for people starting out. I especially appreciated his discussion of "right clicking." That's the biggest erroneous complaint I hear when people talk to me about owning a Mac.
"But it can't right click."
Rest assured, Macs are quite capable of right clicking. On my Mac Pro I have a standard two button mouse. On my Macbook, I like using the touch pad (and loathe thinking about carrying around one more piece of equipment when I travel, even something as diminutive as a mouse.) I use the ctrl button on the my laptop. Works fine.
